Day 87

Well I have gotten back to eating better, but I haven't been exercising. I am going to do that today. I a dragging, and a big reason for that is the way I eat. Another factor is the lack of sleep. But I have to push forward. I have to hope.

I am learning that with self discovery comes self doubt, and with self doubt there is always going to be at least one person who feeds into that self doubt and fuels it. My sister once gave me this quote from Nancy Lopez, and for years I remind myself of it.

“Doubt yourself and you doubt everything you see. Judge yourself and you see judges everywhere. But if you listen to the sound of your own voice, you can rise above doubt and judgment. And you can see forever.”

Doubt, and fear are great tools to get us to avoid our own accomplishments, to keep us from forging forward and becoming better.

There are unfortunately people who will feed into that, and aid in your destruction. How do you avoid their influences? How do you overcome their judgements on you? You have to listen to yourself, your heart, the Holy Ghost. You are a child of God, and that knowledge alone is precious. You have the potential to be like God. You were created in His image.

With that knowledge you arm yourself, because you know that just that is enough to make you who you are and who you can become. You are capable of grandeur.
