Days 13 and 14

The weekends are always so busy, but it is so nice to spend it with my family. It is amazing how challenges can come your way. You know, tests, to see how strong your resolve is. And so far so good. I think the biggest thing for me is that I made a goal. There is an end in sight, so to speak. So I figure I have nothing to lose. I am dedicating 100 days and it really isn't that much time. About three months. I know I can do it!!

It is amazing how you are tested though. I mean people will make comments, they do feel like your are preaching to them, and there are a lot of critics out there. SO WHAT! That is the reality of life anyway. There will always be someone to tell you your wrong, to predict your failure, to criticize your choice, or even make it into a competition. LET THEM BE! You know the saying I'm rubber, your glue, it holds true in this instant. You really have to let it bounce off of you. I tell my girls all the time, "Who do you control?" You are only in control of yourself. With that marvelous gift, you decide how something makes you feel. You choose what you want to do, and be. No one else.

What do you see for yourself? Who are you? What is your story?

Mine? I am a mother of three, who through some tough battles and experiences will raise triumphant. I am an example to those three children, a pillar of strength, a guiding light. I am a woman, who is virtuous, and has integrity. I am a person who loves to do many different things, but loves a challenge. Why? Because it is an opportunity to grow, to learn more about myself. Those hidden facets that I didn't know existed. I am a daughter of God, and with that comes the knowledge that I am something DIVINE.
