I will say it would have been easy just to not right anything, to let you readers believe that I was still trying, but I believe in being honest. This blog is about honesty, and being honest with myself.
Some things I did notice that are positive:
Coke, is way too much sugar! Soda is way too much sugar!
I feel like crap when I eat like crap.
Your body sends you signals when you are lacking certain nutrients. ( I notice this because I have never had warts before and started getting them. When I eat horrible, they expand and grow, when I eat good, they shrink.)
I am more tired when I don't exercise or eat well.
Motivation can be aided with good choices
Food can be an enemy instead of a friend.
So this week, I have started back on the track, it has been difficult in wanting to eat candy and cookies, but also motivating, to get rid of headaches, the slows, and the extra pounds I just added.
I still have a goal to lose weight, but I think that my main focus needs to be in just eating right. I will never be able to maintain the weight I want unless I learn to take care of myself properly. It is all a journey.
One last thing: I am grateful for weaknesses, grateful for opportunities to change and improve. Grateful for challenges that require me to grow and strengthen myself, but also allow me to see the power I can possess. I am grateful for religion, grateful for the religion I belong to. I am grateful for my beliefs, and knowledge that have come through practicing those principles. I am grateful that I know there is a merciful Savior who paved the way. Who is the only person who can uniquely understand me, because he too has experienced it. I am grateful that when I fall short He fills the gap and makes it possible for me to overcome. I am grateful for scriptures that provide direction, power, strength, and testify of the Savior. I am grateful that my life has been prolonged, that the opportunity for me to prove my worth, and the desires of my heart it available still.
